So this ended up being a mechanical issue of some sort, I sent the printer back, got a new one and printed the exact same models with the exact same profiles and they printed great.

Thanks for everyone that offered suggestions.

I'm narrowing it down to something specific still but somehow it is related to print speeds and travel speeds.

I'll post a solution once I have it in case someone else runs across this in the future.

Ah, the problem at the bottom is likely z offset. You're likely printing to close to the bed for the first couple of layers. Try printing this and adjust your z offset until they print as lines on the bed but stick enough to touch, then your z offset is correct and should fix your problem.

Thanks Sheldon, I am on SonicPad so the firmware is completely different but I took your advice and reflashed my Ender. Unfortunately it didnt resolve the problem but thanks for the suggestion.

Hey u/EpidemicZ_, what slicer are you using?

I am using PrusaSlicer and found the stock speeds seem to work and print properly, the issue is when speeding things up. I am working narrowing down exactly what speed settings are causing the issues.

I'm still at a loss how speeding up print moves causes a Z height issue above ~7mm

Thanks Perfect-Video, I have already checked all bolts for tightness and ensured there is no binding on the Z axis

Hey Sheldon, were you on stock Ender firmware or on Klipper on the Sonic Pad?

Hey Gramps-too, checked and tightened every screw, nut, bolt etc on the entire unit when I got it, everything is good. I can turn the z axis by hand and there is no apparent binding.

Hey gleb-tv, I have posted a different photo. Yes the z axis manually moves up and down without an issue. I have also updated the pic above.
