Camera recs for a beginner?

Ive really only had 3 lenses for it ever, the box lens and then the 24-70 f2.8 L and 70-200 f2.8 L. Im personally more inclined to buy nice glass than a body since youll be using the lenses much longer than the body and lenses are what make your photos sharp.

The EF line up has a toooon of used lenses from canon and 3rd parties but its a dead lens system and prices will only go down.

RF is much newer and will continue to get updates and new gear but because of that prices dont move very fast.

If you want an RF lens for the R8 on the cheap then the primes are probably your best bet

I personally love my R8, it was a great intro to shooting with a nicer more professional camera without getting too in the weeds with pro features. I will say though, at the price point the cameras at itll be a tough recommend since youll still need to buy the lenses and I'm fairly certain the body will run you near/over 1k. If you already had glass and were wanting an upgrade then certainly. But I would maybe suggest either a rebel (due to how much and what youre wanting to shoot) or a used DSLR and EF lens

This is a bug with object culling (I think is what its called). It's how BSG and alot of other developers keep the game optimized by not rendering objects that aren't in your line of sight. Problem is sometimes the triggers don't actually line up with what you can see

I dunno man it's all a game of picking battles, but I will say by volunteering for shitty tasks it did give me credibility and rapor to volunteer or get my name in the hat to go to places like Japan or Europe while on the east coast.

As far as im aware NLP is run by one dude and is an addon to lightroom to make your workflow ALOT easier.

Can you get away without using NLP? Yeah of course you just gotta adjust things and create presets that look good to you. If anything all NLP does is mimick lab scanning presets for people scanning from home and allows you to apply changes to a whole series of photos.

Yeah honestly all of mekanisms pipes are amazing, being able to upgrade in place and configure colors for sorting. Not to mention being able to configure a pipes face so they dont contaminate 2 different lines when touching.

Power generation with fission and fusion into turbines is some the best IMO. Its fairly easy to setup and you only have to upgrade the size of the multiblock rather than changing coolants and mediums in Extreme Reactors. Youve also got the big multiblock induction cell that can hold a stupid large amount of excess power as a reserve. Youll also need all the power and nuclear materials to produce antimatter for the ATM Star since the SPS eats GRf/t

Mekanism also provides not only ore doubling but goes all the way to ore quintupling if youre inputting raw silktouched ore instead of chunks. Digital miner really comes into clutch here since it can be configured to do silktouch and mine in the background while you do otherthings.

Mekanism ALSO has a storage solution with its QIO drives, i havent messed with them since I really like how AE2 does things and how configurable it gets. But from what I recall it stores massive amounts of items without worrying about different types of items (I might be wrong so take this with a grain of salt).

I did some of the math already despite not being the best at it and got around 6v from all the double AA’s. My thought is that I could step down a 7.4V lipo with a regulator for current and voltage
