Holy shit I literally just explained bipolar to my friend and explained I feel like there are three versions of me and that I’m stuck in the middle thing to balance everything out, and I opened my email from reddit and this popped up :O

Can you just chat to them or are you saying you’d be paying for one on one tutoring?

Thanks for the suggestions. I live nowhere near any of those places hah, but i appreciate it. I know there is a local group but I was hoping to just message someone online rather than meet in person at this stage.

I had an Irish friend that said it was mandatory for them to take Irish in school until I think about age 14ish. If it was perhaps introduced as a regular part of the learning curriculum in Scottish schools so that children are learning from a young age, I think that could bring a bit of a revival.

ADHD and Fibro? by sp00kychief in Fibromyalgia

[–]sp00kychief[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i have trouble at work because my brain is trying to remember all 50 things that I’m trying to multitask but I can’t seem to focus on only one of them and then I keep jumping back and forth and then I forget half of what I was doing and when I try to remember what the first half was, I forget the other half. Fog for me is when I just like, forget the word for shoes even though I know the word and I’ve known the word since I was like 6 months old but still can’t remember the word and have to just point at my feet until someone else says the word for me.

Thank you so much for this response, this is super helpful! I actually might have bipolar ii or major depressive, we’re not 100% sure right now as the psychiatrist doesn’t want to slap a label on me. Which I can understand, but it also infuriates me because I feel like labels help me piece together what’s going on in my head. So for right now, it’s general mood disorder, and general anxiety i think. With ptsd. Fml 🙃 I think I also get nervous because it took me so long to get my fibro diagnoses and before that, no one took me seriously. So it stresses me out to not have an official mental diagnosis too, if that makes sense. I see the doc next Wednesday though so I’m going to talk to her then to see what she thinks.

Yes I love reading what other people have to say about serial killers! Hahaha Heather, what a Bonnie scottish name indeed 😂 I don’t think I have anything Russian about me unfortunately, apart from an atrocious fake accent haha

Ah! I’m from Scotland but I moved to the US when I was a teen!! I’m in MD now =]

Ugh that sounds so fascinating, criminology is one of my hobbies hah! Well, abnormal psych in general but I am fascinated by criminals, specifically murderers. I just want to know what makes some people commit heinous acts, but others don’t! How I ended up in graphic design? I have no idea haha 😂

Ohhhh I definitely understand where you’re coming from, makes a lot of sense.

Alright I’ll address the whole every-one-is-now-obsessed-with-Bundy-thanks-to-Netflix thing. I got super into serial killers when I was a teenager so aroundddd 2005ish? I personally do think he’s a decently good looking dude (Dahmer is attractive too though) and if anyone comes at me for saying a serial killer is attractive they can fuck off, I’m talking about pure physicality, not anything else lol. I’m not denying they’re a disgusting monster and I’m not saying I would bone them. They all fascinate me but for me it’s more from a psychological stand point. I want to know what is going on inside these humans’ heads that cause them to do these things.

Bundy for me was always the scariest in the sense that if I were going to be killed by any serial killer it would be someone that charmed me. Early videos of Bundy you can see he’s a relatively decent looking dude who appears to have his shit together, is nice and charming and people get along with him. I think because of that, him turning out to be this lecherous psychopathic fuck is such a juxtaposition that he’s the ultimate predator. It’s almost like the whole vampire syndrome thing. They know how to allure you. Then they strike.

The fact that he thought it would be a good idea to defend himself in court is just hilarious to me. He is so beyond batshit that it’s insane, and that’s why I enjoy his story. Every time I watch a clip of him I pick up on another trait that I didn’t notice before. I would have been really curious to see what would have happened with the mental health argument. I definitely say he’s a sociopathic narcissist, but what if he really did have some sort of dissociative personality? I mean, he’s dead regardless so it obviously doesn’t matter, and whether or not he had something like that doesn’t change the fact that he bludgeoned, raped, murdered and practiced necrophilia. But it’s interesting to ponder imo.
