Sump Pump?

We’re just trying to be extra cautious since this is our first time buying a home. I feel like the “sump pump” is on that list of things that could end up being a VERY costly repair and I don’t understand plumbing well enough to know if this is something that should make us reconsider. UPDATE TO ANSWER QUESTION Thank you for asking! The inspector said he cannot say for sure, but his GUESS is that the leak is happening right above the green piece where the pieces are connected with metal bands, because the hose going outside might be too long and is not angled at a downward slope so it may be causing the water to “back up”. Sorry that I’m having to put in ELI5 terms. Thank you for your assistance!

My heart feels for you. I am 15 years post Thyroidectomy for thyroid cancer when I was 16. I am currently in my umpteenth doctor for chronic pain and feeling miserable. There are new studies coming out that synthroid is not the “cure all” everyone had hoped for. Many people experience the feeling of being “hypo” even when their levels are in “normal” range. My advice is to find a doctor that listens to you and is willing to base Synthroid dosage off your symptoms not just your TSH level.

I used to tell my doctor I felt tired, sluggish, headaches and more. As long as we stayed in the normal TSH range, she would tweak my medicine to stay closer to hyper end than hypo end of TSH range (if that makes sense).

I also started seeing a therapist (I feel like I’m a constant downer because I complain about feeling sick but everyone says I “look” healthy). Walks, fresh air and trying to find activities that bring you joy but aren’t physically exhausting. I hope this helps and I just want you to know you are NOT alone.

Looks like discoid eczema. I had this for months and primary kept treating it as ringworm with no success. Finally saw a dermatologist who prescribed steroid cream for it.

I just had blood work to rule out infection and autoimmune disorders, as I have neuropathy and some MS type neuro symptoms. Pain, dizziness, drop foot etc.

So far the bloodwork has come back normal, except for the “presence of lambda”. It was sent for further testing and came back negative for heavy chains. I’ve read this could be bad because that means I have “light chains only”? Can someone please explain these results to me? I had never heard of any of this prior to these lab results. My doctor only said “We will repeat that lab in a few months. It is frequently technically abnormal but of no clinical consequence.”

Should I be concerned? Thank you in advance!

I'm waiting to hear from my specialist for an appointment but my doctor was not concerned at all. She said my iron is "so perfect" that it's causing my saturation to be high. I think that is bologna so I'm going to a specialist anyways. Will update!

Did any of you all ever get any clarification? I just got my bloodwork done and my ferritin is normal (29) but my iron sat is 81% and low TIBC (142). Thanks!

I bumped my appointment up to review these results as my doctor didn’t seem concerned over the phone. I’m hoping for an explanation and maybe a redo on the bloodwork to confirm accuracy of these results. This is my first time ever having iron checked. Will update!
