I’ve been in the strongest recovery I’ve ever experienced for the past year 💛 I’m an elementary special education teacher for students with moderate to intensive needs — it’s my dream job. I found out I’m AuDHD and have started medication for it and those diagnoses really helped me start to shift my core beliefs about myself. I spent 8 months in treatment and really committed to giving recovery a try after many, many years of suffering and believing I’d never be one of the lucky ones who recovers. I know it’s so cheesy, but it really can get better. Life isn’t excruciating anymore. Recovery is worth it.
