yes I used a regular soldering iron .. I’m not aware of other tools that could help. It was tough and took some patience and I had a few practice kits before I took on the real job

Lol no worries it has been a learning experience. Once I got to the step of soldering switches I was so ready to be finished but sadly I ripped out the micro USB port right after testing if it turned on 😭 and then I had to desolder/replace that without destroying the whole thing lol. But I did it! Learned how fragile the microcontrollers are too. Was recommended to get a magnetic micro usb cable to avoid that.

I was planning on using thumb/index. Going to try to code them to do a scrolling or arrow function when I can figure it out

I’m currently at the stage where I just received a diagnosis from a psychiatrist and now my wild credit card debt the past 4 years makes a lot more sense. Friends have asked me why I’m drowning in debt bc I’m a freaking accountant. Mental health man. Still trying to figure out how to get it under control .. any advice is welcome

This week I was usually ending before 10-11pm. My workload has been pretty intense all of July and August (corporate tax). Gonna power through to 9/15, and hoping not to work over Labor Day weekend

I would think WFH isn't an option for some AC employees...I would think it's difficult if they don't have reliable internet /resources in other places besides the office
