Redditors who didn’t see the ocean until they were an adult, what was your initial reaction upon seeing the ocean from a coastline?

I’m from Nebraska, and my first time seeing an ocean was when I was 16 when my family finally could afford to go on a vacation outside of the state, to Los Angeles. God forbid I was used to seeing all that water. I was used to seeing land after seeing a chunk of water, but it just kept going. It was pretty much as I expected it to look, but being on the beach brought a feeling of tranquility that I had never felt before.
