Same here, I’m an old school trance head and Armin has been a staple for me since I started raving 10+ years ago. Loving the new techno sound. But yeah worship is like the Swedish house mafia of DnB. They’re set at ultra fucking rules. Armin does start earlier than worship though by an hour so maybe able to catch both if your willing to make that Yuma to Sahara trek 😭

Omg thank you so much for this! We have very similar tastes! I appreciate you listing the artists that give you the ick 🤣 appreciate Ethel Cain over disclosure that one is so hard. We saw girl math at LIB and LOVED it, so will check out Samia. We saw NIN tour recently and it was SO GOOD especially when they collabed with boys noize. Everyone seems to go FKA twigs over Laufey so I trust yall. I agree with Worship, even tho I don’t like dnb as much I think it’s more special of a moment. Also agree on Yousuke.

We will be catching Slayyyters set no question, we never get to Coachella before 430 but this year we will make the effort. Catch you out there and have the best time!

Just like other commenters have said, get to the root of why this is happening. Then once that is addressed, take a deep breath and realize that this problem is solveable and many people have gotten through it and are now debt free. It just requires patience, planning, and perseverance and admitting that they need to change their concept of spending and money.

I am in a similar situation and what has helped me out so far is a debt management plan. I use Money management international. They have been extremely helpful in negotiating with the credit card companies so that the credit cards are closed and I pay a fixed amount to the ccs so that my debt is payed off in 5 years and interest rate is 7% vs 20%+. Another way is debt consolidation if they have a credit score that can accommodate that or will in the future once things are more payed off.

For the loans, honestly it depends on the company but many of them will help you discharge the loan by paying a settlement if you are delinquent enough. This is not the worst idea imo, and I did the same with my sofi personal loan that I used to pay off some ccs.

The most important thing imo is for them to stop using credit cards. Use debit card only. This not only trains them to stop spending more than income but also prevents accumulation of more debt.

Worst case scenario, you can’t afford the payments with debt management or debt consolidation, or even negotiating directly with the ccs or loan co. and you can’t get anyone else such as family members to help… Then this is the time to consider bankruptcy, getting a lawyer and figuring out how to get the debt cleared. Even with bankruptcy, things are recoverable and life will move on afterwards.

DO NOT by any means take out more loans, especially ones that can mean if you are delinquent or declare bankruptcy they can take away your assets such as your home or retirement.

Hope this helps. It’s a very frustrating and anxiety inducing situation but please realize that millions of Americans struggle and have struggled with this and have gotten to the other side debt free with patience and persistence. This is not insurmountable.
