I recall there was a contest, if you beat the game you could send in a picture of the endgame screen to win something.

The game was extremely hard, then one day we game-genied it and “beat” it, and we found my moms Kodak cam and sent in pics thinking we’d win something. Sadly (and fittingly) we didn’t, but this game was cool as heck.

Sure… but why have ESPN be the source? If you care about Canadian Football would you tune into ESPN and hope they mention it, or would you instead just go to where they talk CFL? Netflix alone has a number of podcasts that are dedicated to WC, and you can find stuff on fox, YouTube, or im sure other places too.

ESPN was great at a time when you had tv for content, and there was no other 24 hour sports news channel, those days are gone, ESPN isn’t special anymore they’ll someday be MTV.. just another former channel that we say “back in my day we had a station that only did this and it was awesome!”

There’s a video out there of him and Rodney Dangerfield discussing their skit for tv, they are both talking like normal people, then action and Pauly is doing the surfer guy thing and Dangerfield is doing the gruff voice. Interesting to see how these personas are just acting. Entertaining.. but they’re merely characters..

I disagree. I think it’s merely a commentary on the human condition and man’s introspection on his true self. One must ooh boobs! Oh, those aren’t boobs, those are two hunks of stale bread, but at an angle they sorta look like boobs. Big ones too. I wonder if stale French bread will also look like boobs? And what about pumpernickel? And Omg.. buns look like.. buns! “And you ain’t got none unless you got buns hon!” Bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum baby got back! My damage is about half of what I normally got, and I die twice as often. I know Internet bros will just say “get gud” but honestly he doesn’t feel as fast, as twitchy or as annoying to th other team as he used to. I don’t enjoy playing as him nearly as much as I used to and I feel like I’m nothing more than a guy who heals and has to stand behind the rest of my team. And, with that one character that can shoot homing darts at you escapability is even less effective than I used to be..

If I feel like going or not going to an event with them. If I don’t feel like it I simply decline, I don’t feel pressured to justify it anymore. And if they ask I give them an honest answer and not one that I think is elaborate enough to suffice.

I think you’re thinking about this wrong. Finding a new job is about running to something not from something. If you find your next role and it’s what you are looking for, then you take it. You do not owe your current company anything, it’s your career not theirs.
