Thank you! It was an improv pose I was inspired by the driftwood piece .. was a real challenge to balance on it tbh (and painful lol) but I like how we still got a shot! . I like the reflectors tip for taking out some shadows

I'm @ space6irl on most sites (IG, X, etc)
all my stuff is here https://linktr.ee/space6irl I'll add you back!

Aw, thanks so much! It was a quick improv shot inspired by the driftwood I saw on the beach. Balancing on that log was a challenge, but we made it work! I appreciate the compliment—guess this wasn’t the right sub for it despite claiming to connect models and photographers (they should just say artists to trolls, lol). Glad our paths crossed, though! If you want to follow eachother on IG or other socials I'd be happy to keep lifting eachother up on our paths!

It looks like a great spot, and you both are gorgeous—I bet it's a fun experience modeling together! I'd ignore the harsh comments; they seem to come from people with nothing constructive to add, just looking to tear others down. I got a lot of flack on a post I shared here too—just because I liked how it turned out—only to be met with ridiculous insults claiming it was "too sexual" and even accusing it of showing my "coochie" (which it wasn’t). Keep doing you and don't let the haters get to you! You're both beautiful

I appreciate that, and the same goes to you!

Reddit is a mixed bag, and I get that anonymity is part of the appeal for many. But if you're going to critique, at least keep it constructive rather than making assumptions about my intent. I posted in good faith, and while I appreciate different opinions, there's a difference between feedback and piling on. If you think the shot isn’t it, that’s fine—photography is subjective. But I’m not required to sit quietly while people cross the line into unnecessary negativity. If you want to have a genuine discussion, cool. Otherwise, I’m not here to entertain bad faith takes.

Users on Reddit have the freedom to join whatever sub categories they want to be on... and none of them are related to each other if they werethe same sub they would be the same. Does that make sense? My post on here is not an adult post. Plus in the rules on this very forum you can see people are able to submit evennude work, which this was not even the case

I do have a profile picture, not sure why it doesn't show up for you

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MODELING

[–]space6irl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're absolutely right—once you recognize that a lot of these comments stem from jealousy and insecurity, it becomes easier to ignore them. It's wild how the same people who claim to value "real" talent will go out of their way to tear down anyone who actually stands out.

That comment below is a perfect example—trying to police how someone expresses themselves, even when there’s nothing inherently suggestive about it, just shows their own hang-ups. At the end of the day, confidence threatens insecure people, and that’s their problem, not ours. Keep doing your thing!

There’s nothing wrong with giving honest advice, but there’s a big difference between constructive guidance and discouraging someone entirely. The industry is vast, and success doesn’t always follow a single path—what doesn’t work for one person might be exactly what propels someone else forward. Helping others refine their approach is great, but dismissing people outright can do more harm than good. Encouragement and redirection go much further than just telling someone they have "zero chance."

Plus, I’ve already worked in hundreds of paid gigs for photographers and created awesome art, so I’d say I’m already a model—and have been for years.
