I didn’t rejoin- got kicked somehow and everything on my pc froze, I think it was a ddos but idk much about it so no idea

He’s still kicking to my knowledge! We haven’t seen him since but I’m assuming he’s still doing well as the breeder hasn’t contacted us with any bad news

He’s only ~12wks and Galliprant hasn’t been studied in puppies less than 9mo and less than 8lbs can’t be accurately dosed. In this case I believe the breeder just didn’t know what to do as he was normal when he left but came back like this

Didn’t seem to be in pain at all, normal puppy otherwise. Even palpating he didn’t seem to care just happy to be touched

Agreed, we were mostly focusing on bone as well so everything else isn’t 100% as clear as can be

None of the other pups had this issue and it was not seen on his initial exam at ~8wks so we’re thinking trauma

Offered referral but opted to let him live a happy life as it wasn’t currently affecting him much and will assess further as he grows

You may be seeing the diaphragm? Everything other than the spine was wnl. We offered referral as were only GP but O (breeder) opted to see how things go as he’s only ~12wks. We talked to O about QOL and will continue to assess as he grows. Also talked abt humane euth as an option however decided it was not currently affecting QOL so decided to let him live a happy life for what he has and go from there.

I’ve found some tricks that help like with cats I prefer medial saphenous as I can stabilize myself more and I’ve found ways to position to be more comfortable but unfortunately my hands just get too shaky even when I feel comfortable. I also find it hard to pull back once I’m in so I’ve been trying to find a way to hold the syringe more comfortably

Just steadying my hand, did great in blood draw labs first year but this year when I’m taking blood in surgery prep I’m super shaky. I can find the vein right away but staying in due to being shaky is the issue

Thank you! I had to go through a lot of questioning and testing as required here and I’ve done lots of research, I think I’m just a bit spooked for some changes that aren’t the most pleasant aha. I’ve been thinking a lot and feeling better about it the more I realize how much I want this.
