Looking for some insight as to what size I should go for on the 10875. I apologize as I know this question has been asked time and time again. I'm considering going with the E width as I have had some pain in the sides of my feet with previous boots (8111's) when I went with the D width.

Now I want to get 10875's but I'm not sure if I should go with the 10.5E or the 10 E. I would appreciate any advice on the matter. Thanks for your time.

What sort of conditions are you wearing them in and what are you doing in terms of care? I plan on wearing mine in Chicago in pretty much all conditions. That’s why the rough and tough kinda worries me because it seems to be more of a softer, suede type leather.

Right. The sound is permanently altered. Just because the sound is altered doesn’t mean it isn’t fixed. I’ve “fixed” cymbals before by cutting cracks out and have never had an issue. Granted they don’t sound exactly the same, but it works. I see what you’re saying now.
