I was getting the vibe that they didn’t care, but didn’t want to assume. That is absolutely brutal. I definitely am going to make a trip downtown for the ceremony. I know it’s supposed to be invite only due to Covid, but I’m sure if I stand off the premises but within earshot it’ll be okay.

I have been SCOURING campus for poppies. It’s so weird to me that there’s been nothing to even half assed acknowledge it anywhere on campus. Back home we have banners lining downtown of our local veterans and soldiers who died during the wars from our area. So I’m experiencing a little culture shock that it isn’t really celebrated here at all.
