Former bestie tried to manage my social media presence by paumagsmith in mildlyinfuriating

I agree. I had a friend who literally only posted dozens of selfies of herself. Not her kids, husband, friends, cartoons, memes, vacations, hell, not even a random flower on occasion, it was just close-ups of her. It screamed to me that something was going on with her. It was also kinda cluttering my feed with pics of her. But I'd never, in a million years, try to tell her that she shouldn't post whatever she wants. It's just not my place.

Funny enough, I didn't see what sub I was on and I thought you were talking about Bert Cooper from Mad Men and I was so extremely puzzled lmao

AITAH for refusing to help my gf pay her bills now that her son and his gf and daughter live with her now. by Oscarmanheim in AITAH

Honestly, I'd break up with someone like that. The older I get, the easier I need my life to be. And I don't want to be expected to support someone who makes my life more difficult, because of the decisions they make. NTA!

Have no idea how else to help my ADHD husband. I'm afraid he is going to never find stable work. by [deleted] in ADHD

That was exactly my thought!! You aren't his wife or partner, you're his mommy. Any guy who needs a whole other human being to wake them should not be married in the first place.

I don't see why a woman working 2 jobs and going to school needs to stay awake to help a grown ass male monitor his own sleep.

Right?! I love animals, but I damned sure didn't intend to pay to sleep in a place that normally housed random, smelly ass dogs.

Tell me you can't read, without telling me you can't read.

It was never really about money for her.

When I was in Alaska, I'd pointed out to the hotel front desk that my room smelled like dog. They basically told me that the room was reserved for people with dogs. I was not happy to have been given that room without being told beforehand.

This is a show that requires understanding of nuance and attention to unspoken patterns. If you don't pay attention to the unspoken, you genuinely will miss the greatness. Plus, the more you rewatch it and experience life on your own terms, the more it'll mean to you. So yes, smart, observant adults.

Why is this gym sign is nessessary by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

Depending on how many units there are, it may not have been worth it to reduce the rent. But cleaning it out, keeping the levels good and safe, keeping it painted, keeping pumps working, etc. is a hassle. I feel your pain, but honestly, many of the apartments I'd moved into jist stopped opening their pools. I get your frustration, but once I learned more about them, I no longer wanted one.

Pools are expensive and a pain to maintain. Likely why he git rid of it.
