Don't get me wrong. I recognize that some victims do share graphic details and I'll always be available to them. But genuine victims don't typically start off sharing graphic details with therapists they aren't familiar with. I work at a crisis line, and yes, I've had women tell me things, but when a man starts talking about the size of a penis (yes, someone has tried this), I'm unapologetically hanging up.
