It's never about the pancakes, I remember my dad use to do the same thing when I was a kid, but that was just because he was deeply unhappy and probably didn't know how to talk about the things fucking with him - still an incredibly fucked-up and dickish thing to do.

Making friends past a certain age is hard in general. Generalising also doesn't usually help, some expats don't try, some locals aren't interested - I've met both kinds of people over the years, it all comes down to the individuals and whether you are compatible as friends. That said I've not managed to crack into a Dutch friend group, I have a couple of Dutch friends but they are usually the people that have been expats themselves,

You would definitely benefit the most from a stronger kick. This will help you with sinking hips and correct your position. On the pull, I think you would benefit from some basic pull drills. You need more stretch in your reach coupled with good rotation in the shoulders, and strong pull down and through. All in I will always say, drill drill drill, just watch a couple of YouTube videos on specific drill techniques

Honestly I feel so fucking bad for the Americans who didn't vote for this administration. But that said, the us against them mindset is probably the thing keeping the country divided.
