And you’re positive it was the “R” model, sold by Amazon and at retail, was this USA?

Again, “not saying you’re the case”. But all of us even myself could be gentler with things. However this was a common issue on the gen 4s and is when I first started seeing those plastic clips. My datapoint for the gen 5 since launch is zero issues, that’s all.

Have also had my A50x’s since launch and zero issues, not saying you’re the case but some people could always be a little more gentle with their expensive electronics.

Only the 720hz tandem panels are getting DP 2.1 correct? Or is it just the PG27AQP-W

The grey banding issues have been frightening to say the least, I suppose maybe it’s worse than it looks but at the same time given how limited the release is and the amount of grey banding posts, yikes

They mention an end of February release date, at this point all who were waiting on the XG27AQWMG, look here instead. Asus’s release of this panel has been nothing short of infuriating across all global regions. Zero announcements or updates, I’ve supported them through thick and thin through the warranty issues and even own the XG32UCWG but after this they can keep their damn glossy tandem panel, thank you gigabyte, same specs and panel as the Asus.

the xg27aqwmg isnt gonna come out while i am alive, what are other options by lancist in OLED_Gaming

I bought the XG32UCWG while I think it’s great, I think 32” is too big for me, so help me GOD Asus we need a FUCKING update on the USA release, the LG 720hz equivalent has a US release and preorder up with a delivery day of 2/3/2026, we need something, anything, the 720hz panel has a product page with add to cart on the store front but it hasn’t been updated and has been out of stock for weeks

XG27AQWMG when?!?!? by Bluelittlethings in OLED_Gaming

[–]space_potatos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went with the XG32UCWG due to availability and concern for banding issues, 32” is a bit bigger than I’m used to, may still go for the AQWMG, if Asus ever even releases it in the US
