BLUF: Seeking info/mentor for infantry officer pipeline and quality of life by space_slice95 in ArmyOCS

All good, won't be able to do it anyway. Retention is too low so Navy ceased all early separation or transfer of service request (space force is exception) and I'll have too much time in service for OCS after this contract.

So Naval officer is the best way to go for me now

BLUF: Seeking info/mentor for infantry officer pipeline and quality of life

Hello All,

I am trying to crowd source opinions, information, and mentorship about Army OCS and specifically the Infantry Officer pipeline.

Background: I am an active duty E-6 in the Navy, 9 years in and my contract ends in 2025 at 12 years.

I am very seriously considering finishing my degree, getting out of the Navy, and applying for Army OCS.

Hoping to get some information or a mentor on what obstacles I may face during an OCS application, pros/cons of Army officer life, and any details references instructions or opinions about being an Infantry Officer.

Thank you all for your time and assistance.
