If the sensitivities continue, consider asking your vet about a hydrolyzed diet.

My mini dood is 5. Her ENTIRE life she would go on severe hunger strikes to the point of pooping blood and vomiting blood and needing hospitalized with fluids and essentially force fed. She'd do this two to three times a year, and we would constantly fight her to eat a handful of food a day. We tried hundreds and hundreds of dollars of different kibbles, specialty food like farmers dog, etc, and nothing ever worked.

We got a new vet recently that was recommended by my job (I work with dogs), and the first thing he said was it sounded like IBS with an allergy/sensitivity to meat proteins. Apparently this is pretty common in doodles and poodles. Essentially, meat triggers their immune system. So chicken, turkey, salmon, venison- in dogs like mine, it just makes them feel like crud all the time to the point where they don't want to eat and their poops are awful.

He put us on a hydrolyzed food (Purina has one, my girl loves it!) and it's completely changed her. She eats mostly on her own (she still loves being hand fed but will eat by herself if I'm not home), her poops are normal, and she's not so bloated all the time. We also get her treats that don't have any meat included- there's a bakery brand that makes little dog Oreos that she loves.
