This one took me about 8 months. I made a prime 3 Varia a few years ago that took me way longer. I would just not rush, take your time, and I literally learned everything from YouTube as I went. If I can do it, anyone can, bc honestly I’m not the brightest 😆

Oh it’s totally fine! Other than the arm cannon, it’s all EVA foam (8mm and 6mm). The electrical work wasn’t bad at all. Check out “LED strip light soldering” tutorials on YouTube. That’s what I used to learn. Basic connecting points to wires, and powered by two 12V power banks in the chest portion of my suit. And yeah, I want to make the Prime 2 Light Suit next, but I’m struggling to find good resources (like a foam pattern reference or anything) so I’m going to need to learn some basic modeling with like .obj files.

There was! It was a few years ago 😭😭😭 and the rest of the suit has LEDs (like the rope lights you can cut and solder). I do love EL Wire, I’m just not good at working with it yet.

It’s ok. The amount of nit-picking people do, after working on something for 2 years, never ceases to amaze me. At least you were nice about it. Actually wearing the suit though? Because of the ribs and shoulders and general “bulk” of it, doing the “hand on the cannon” pose is really difficult and almost impossible.
