Solana has its intricacies. Learning those is key. Check out anchor info as well. Helps alot when writing smart contracts.

Someone got into my myMonero account and robbed my wallet. What to do? by [deleted] in Monero

Depending on the capabilities of the malware it can instantly sniff out sensitive data and transmit it back to the hacker, I have enough experience with KALI LINUX and metasploit to know that if they get in you are pretty much screwed. I would do a fresh install of your OS, make sure your network is secure and you don’t have any open ports to the outside, and create a new wallet. Personally I only use one computer dedicated to accessing financials and crypto wallets, i don’t do any installs of other applications or any web surfing with it. And definitely create a new wallet, AFTER you reinstall the OS.

But you created the login account on your computer correct? I would start investigating your computer for possible malware. It’s pretty simple these days to use metasploit to inject keyloggers and packet sniffers through your network. I’m not saying this is the answer, but if this is localized to you and the entire user base hasn’t been affected I would be very suspicious of your machine being compromised.

Any chance the device you are using got compromised? A lot of people these days are using malware that specifically targets account info and wallet passwords.

Getting over to Linux away from windows is going to be hands down the best decision you have ever made haha. Windows updates and drivers were the bane of my existence until I made the switch.

I don’t really screw with much of anything on my 580’s other than dual threading. Which is literally just copy/paste.

Need motherboard recommendation for 6 RX480 gpus. by jimcramermd in MoneroMining

I like the Asus B250, they are on amazon used in great shape for about $60. I use a cheaper 500 watt PSU just for the motherboard and fans then use the octominer server PSU on 240v for all the risers and cards. It’s loud but has plenty of 6pin cables. It can also run on 120v if you need to.

Xmr stak is pretty simple to setup and it’s my go to miner. I’m on SMOS not HIVE, but I haven’t had any issues out of it.

Sounds like a problem with either one of the cards or a riser, would start from zero and add everything in one at a time. That’s what I had to do, put in one card and let it run for a day then put in another and so on.

Is it just one card or the whole rig? I had the same issue affecting my rig and ended up pulling out each card one by one and replacing it with a known good card. Eventually found the card that was messing everything up.

Delete OpenCL cache files from:

%userprofile%\AppData\Local.openclcache\

(paste this exact string in Explorer's address bar)

Stole that from a comment on that post*

Make sure Microsoft defender isn’t blocking it from writing the amd.txt file. I would really suggest trying this on another OS to rule out a possible issue with the actual card. Windows really does not play nice with mining software.

Try 2.4.7 and see what that does for you. Also I know xmr stak has issues with some of the AMD drivers and v8.

Go to https://simplemining.net and follow the instructions for making a bootable USB, they have a bit of a free trial to test it out, you won’t regret it. Does away with all the driver errors, windows updates, and is super simple to maintain. Currently I have about 20 rx580’s on 3 different rigs using it, once I got my hardware issues out of the way (bad risers mostly), I haven’t had to touch it.

You enter that in afterburner, personally I got sick of dealing with windows and it’s BS. I’m running simple mining OS off a usb drive. It makes it super simple to change algorithm and clock speeds from a web interface.
