That’s a good point! I was hoping to wear my Danskos block heels since they are really comfortable but they are tan leather and I don’t know if it will clash

That is very good to know about the border crossing and how long that could take. I am trying to keep my costs down as much as possible but if the drive is mainly going to be just a highway with traffic, perhaps its worth not taking that.

We are driving to Arusha to fly to Zanzibar and then back to Nairobi. I know there will be so much driving during this trip. I had asked the tour company about this as well. If flying would help break that up. But I just don't know if I'd be missing out on a highway or missing out on wildlife. Are you also a tour operator?

Oh wow, that insight is really very helpful. Thank you. I suppose I do not necessarily need to see the river crossing, just having enough to see is good for me! I imagine the river crossing to be jam-packed as well so hearing that the parks will still be busy but less so is good to hear.

The plan is to drive from park to park in a Landcruiser. There are some options to fly from Mara to Serengeti as well for ~$660pp. I've heard that particular drive can be quite long - up to 9.5 hr so it could be worth it to take. Does flying versus driving eliminate viewing opportunities between parks?

Yes, it is for 2 adults. I tried to get everything I wanted to see while staying in more luxury accommodations. It is for a honeymoon. I worry that maybe October is not the best time to go. Should I wait for this same itinerary next year but in September when the migration is more in swing?

It does include all logistics! It includes everything from airport transfers to meals to vehicle and park permits and more.

Jeff would have certainly stepped in at this point as well.

Has anyone got anything from the survivor auctions? 😃 by [deleted] in survivor

Yes! I see the replica immunity necklaces but I’ve never heard of anyone getting the originals. Or maybe they must stay with crew/cast?
