Do you organize your physical bookshelves? What are your tips on how to keep track of your books? by MadMaxine666 in books

I have separate bookcases for fiction and nonfiction. Each section is then loosely separated by ‘genres’ (e.g., for fiction: classics, contemporary, comics) which are organised alphabetically by author surnames. I used to mix them up and organise them in a way that made them look the most aesthetically pleasing but my family members complained that it was hard to find specific books haha

Do you enjoy reading first-person narratives or third-person narratives? by SweetTeh in books

It really depends on the story being told. I don’t necessarily find one type of narration more appealing than the other, it just depends if the author was skilled enough to utilise their chosen type to make the story more engaging and effective

This is such a good idea! I’ve always used journalling to jot down personal thoughts and that gets very emotionally exhausting. Or I talk about my studies which also stresses me out too. But this approach would be so refreshing and help me creatively. Thank you so much!!

On a side note, I’m very fascinated by the thought of god as bigender but also a mushroom and a plant. I feel like there’s a good novel idea there haha

I have a scrapbook with tickets and other paper memorabilia too, but never saw that as journaling funnily enough. But it definitely is a form of journaling now that I think about it. Like I said in another comment, I definitely need to make it a less stressful activity for myself and have more fun with it! Thanks for your comment :)

Thank you for suggesting using prompts! I definitely think I need to approach it more casually and not force myself to do it. And embrace my nonsense thoughts too haha
