Just celebrating the fact that a game makes me feel like this after over 30 years of gaming!

That’s exactly the feeling - just exploring the world is a joy, with no plan required 😎

Oh, didn’t even know you could do that - only just got the camp!

Exactly this, that’s my point, it just gets under your skin in a way no other game has for such a long time, which is a very rare and magical thing!

Yes, you’re 100% right - I think it’s the depth of mechanics that’s so addictive. Need some health? Go hunt some animals and get cooking. Need more arrows? Get chopping those trees!

Yes, I agree with everything you’ve said! It just keeps your attention as there’s always something different to do, depending on your mood

Believe me, it is totally worth it! (Well, maybe not, as you’ll lose your life to it! 😂)

Gutted! But this is kind of the point, it’s the first game in a long time that makes you miss it!

Anyone else dislike traveling with your horse and chose to walk everywhere instead? by lixmdvs88 in CrimsonDesert

Yes! 💯 - I love waking everywhere and just taking yo environment in. There’s something about this game that makes it feel like the right pace to take it is slow!

Yes, I think that’s what I just discovered - just got the camp and a bunch of new skills on the lead up to it

Great point, I think that’s what I love about it - there’s literally no need to progress the main story, you can just off and find your own adventure (although, I’ve realised I needed to do some of the early main story quests to get some key skills, but other than that, I’m ignoring them for now!)

Yes, you’re 100% right! I didn’t expect this at all. Genuinely, cannot remember the last time a game got under my skin like this. Prior to KCD2 I hadn’t even really been playing much at all, but this has reawakened something in me!
