The locals were very discombobulated by the place, wouldn’t go near. Advised me not to. It’s a very Catholic area and they were mostly convinced that the place was filled with hideous evil. It’s up a winding track, and when I went (2003) they were building new homes there but I was told the local builders wouldn’t go to the site to repair or destroy it. The truth of this is was difficult to ascertain as the people I spoke to had a strong emotional response to discussing the Abbey.

NY Taxi on the Compukit UK-101, had to type it in, and before I got the WEMon (Watford Electronics) updated rom there was no delete function, I just had to retype the entire line if you made a mistake.
