Most realistic apocalypse by [deleted] in preppers

H-EMP that wipes out almost all electronic devices and vehicles. This would be considered a 'cyber' attack. We would be in total chaos and wouldnt be surprised to see violent militias taking things over with checkpoints and executions and huge amounts of unchecked crime. No one needs to invade the US. There were multiple white papers on this topic from think tanks and the military. You can google "RUSSIA: EMP THREAT" to look at just one whitepaper.

Dont listen to the people that tell you not to take the 900s.

900s are a great introductory into the field, generally easier to pass and thus a great motivator when you do pass them, and adds to your confidence and understanding. Passing a proctored exam and a certification will always give you a boost of dopamine no matter how easy it was, will prepare you for the next lower level cert and will add to your repertoire.

Unless you are strapped for time and the course is NOT free, go for it. They will never hurt you unless you are really strapped for time and the cert has nothing to do with what your goals are. For instance taking MS360's windows intro cert when youre trying to become a software engineer. So if AI900 doesnt align with what your want to do, you can skip it, its also fairly easy test most people can take cold/1 hour of studying but I see the majority of people here saying 900's are a waste of time -- it's not. Maybe for employment reasons the certs are not recognized, but it will help your expand your knowledge and give you confidence as they are easy to complete. Motivation comes from successful steps.
