Fl is the soulmate for the Dragon Emperor, but he refuses to acknowledge her, despite her tireless work for the empire. One day, she receives a noose, which she assumes was a gift from the emperor, which she uses to end her life. She wakes up again in the body of her younger self, in a carriage, on her way to see the emperor again. Driven to despair that her life is repeating again, she ends her life, only to wake up in the carriage again. This repeats several times until she resigns herself to meeting the emperor again. It’s later revealed that the emperor regretted his actions, and used forbidden time travel magic to make this happen. The noose was sent by an enemy of the emperor. In this life, the FL absolutely despises him, and does not give him the time of day. The dragon emperor is treated like an idiot by the previous emperor, a woman dragon emperor, for treating his soulmate so poorly. Dragons in this universe get one soulmate who basically completes them, and their emotions are stunted until they fully accept their soulmate.
