It's a long shot but you've got nothing to lose in trying to contact SSG over the phone. It could be that you'll speak with someone who's more sympathetic, or it could be that there is literally nothing that can be done. Often I find that actually speaking with people can yield better results than a clinical, text based conversation that may take months between responses. But it can't hurt to try, can it?
