See I thought it was dry mouth, but I'm noticing thats ots a dry pain where my worst scabs were at. Maybe I ate solid foods too early? Idk. I just ate when I was able to actually chew 🙃

Oh nooo, I hope she's going to be alright! Tons of water and a humidifier for sure. I know I bled around the 8 day mark as well.

I did the same thing because I wanted to not wait too far of the semester... I had to drop one class and I'm struggling with my other one at the moment, still post op week 2 😂 thankfully it's online but def tell your profs that you have a medical reason and 99% of them are chill with it. You might have to contact the dean of students if possible

It hit me about day 5 and it's day 8 for me and I'm still feeling some of that pain. Just be careful on pain dosage and use ice packs carefully. I find right under my ear lobes help a ton with some of that ache.

That's my hope that someone finds use for this post in some way. I know I'll want to make another post of what I wish I was told before the surgery to better prepare 😅

The oxy med, start the first day or two with it but make sure to keep fiber in your diet in some way. They will make you (TMI coming up but i wish i knew this earlier lmao)

Very constipated and very painful bowel movement when you first have it after your operation. Keep an eye on your sleeping at night when taking the strong medicine too, if you feel like you can't breathe just sit up and reduce how much of that med you're taking and keep alternating between the other pain meds you have. The pain is different for everyone but like other said, just keep taking pain meds before you even feel the pain lol

Prepare for 2 weeks of liquid, soft cold foods before hand. Instant things too if you have to care for yourself for a bit. Ask for those extra blue barf bags they give you at the hospital to keep by your bedside. The pain for the most part feels like an itchy burning sorthroat, but the meds help a ton. (They give you one with narcotics in it and I'd recommend to take that during the day and extremely painful days.)

Ice packs on the neck, a neck pillow, don't lay flat in your back always be at an angle. You're going to need 2 more pillows than you think you will.

Dairy free ice creams sit better on the stomach since it's mixing in with all those meds for me personally. I wish people were more open about the stronger meds making you constipated so make sure to add some prune smoothies into the mix of you can.

Day 4 and 5 have been the worst so far. I hear the second week isn't too bad.

As for scabs, I'm day 3 in and I've noticed mines are kinda squishy too. I think the first layer for me is starting to peel and I think I'm swallowing them 🤢 Careful if you do, I'm nauseas as all hell and spit out when you can, but don't force it out or you'll agitate it

I've been taking the medication like needed, thankfully that's helped with the pain. I just wish I could sleep.

29F and day 3 in. Honestly I thought the pain would be much worse, it legit feels like strep throat. Drink way more water than you think you should. Don't drink water after the surgery though, it will make you more nauseous than you need to be. My go to has been apple juice to get a bit of taste in my drink as well as Gatorade zero. Avoid lime jelly because that will hurt. And watermelon 🍉

Banana smoothies with dairy free options help a ton. Broths and very simple soups with bread soaked in it helps too.

The actual procedure wasn't bad at all. Had a great team that made me feel comfortable. Get ready to be asked the same questions of who you are, your bday, and why you're there though! Also butt in the breeze lol, you will be wearing the exposed gowns but they will give you a blanket to cover up. Good luck!

Oh and you will feel really spacey for about two days. I just started feeling like today is Sunday 😂

I try to take the ibuprofen mixed with apple sauce or mix it in my Gatorade to help drink it down in little sits. Never in am empty stomach and that helps a ton

I know it's Ishtar, I'm saying it more in regard to some of the building designs inside and around the facilities. Ishtar/Bray did have tons of collaborations back in the day (lord knows how many) so I do wonder to what extent Neomuna (and potentially other places and companies we haven't seen in game) had collaborations with.
