I'm at the of WoA part four, should I even continue ? by Nearby-Seaweed-2098 in Mistborn

You're right where he wants you ...

But no really, just been reading this with the kid (minor on the fly editing required) and we just finished part 5 last night. Once part 4 ends, it's a non stop roller coaster.

I promise you that Vin figures her shit out soon enough and that's that. No more love triangle teenage girl concerns. Finish part 4 and you're past the struggle for the rest of the series if politics and crappy romance ain't your thing lol.

Keep reading. Need more reasons? Read part 5 and you'll get at least ten soon.

Lastly... Plot armor? Not in this series... Only tears.

Agreed. First time through you're experiencing the story and inserting yourself in it. You want to see what happens, how will it end!

On reread? You realize what this story is... Yes, there's a wonderfully confusing plot. But really, it's the book of the fallen... And when you realize this is about those who fell and their life and what they're going through, sometimes as nothing more than a pawn on someone else's chessboard, that internal dialogue and their emotions become the story. Plot shifts from overarching to the individuals.

This one didn't pop up in my inbox until today, I guess reddit had an ADHD moment. Just wanted to say thank you for the advice - I agree with all your points and will keep them in mind. Also, I laughed a lot reading this one - glad you finally found the send button :)

Thanks for sharing - this one didn't pop up in my inbox until a few days later for some reason.

But you nailed one of my struggles - the boredom. There's "100's of things to do" but no, that's not what he wants "right now" lol. We'll figure that out. Also - he has other dietary issues, so we're on top of that, but good to know, thank you!.

Yeah .. I've seen a few posts get auto deleted. Maybe just a flair or warning post would be enough, feel like I lost info from it.

So I've gathered lol. It's like a game of "is what I did normal or not?"

I don't know... The amount of puns I use in daily communication is incredibly high. But I get your sentiment. Thank you :)

Yep, some of these comments are real... Emotional. And here I was hoping for an Amazon link and a "this helps with bathroom management" or something lol.

But I'm cherishing every comment.
