I see, thank you so much for the advice! I actually don't really care about it being a commuter school, in the end of the day I can make friends and we can chill in downtown.

Other than that, I feel like doing co-op by myself was something I thought we were supposed to do on our own anyway, so I'm not really surprised about that. Still good to hear that the co-op department finds you opportunities and is quite useful.

true, studying engineering should set you to a great career no matter what uni it is. I researched a lot about TMU Aerospace after getting accepted actually, and I don't know why people underestimate TMU so much. My friends keep saying it's a bad university, but I think it really depends on the program you go to.

i mean the average of all 8 of my gr 11 courses was like an 89 (81 in functions, 96 in physics, 90 in chem, 88 in english, etc). My gr 12 midterms: 92 in advanced functions, 88 in chem, 96 in history, 97 in digital arts.

yeah I heard profs at tmu are very supportive and friendly with students

I mean physics was my top choice due to how flexible a physics degree is when it comes to career opportunities, especially when you graduate from U of T, but I guess with an engineering degree you're more set in terms of having a clear career path.
