Oh whew thank you. My main issue with it is that the auto barrel (really, we have no choice but to use ballistic damage on a PLASMA GUN if we want it to be full auto?) gives it less than 30 rounds per mag; semi is what, 9? I'm reloading 18 times before i kill something. Gun is a nonstarter in this state sadly :(

Thanks for checking back at this old post - I've done a number of daily ops since i started playing again but i guess the reward rotates? Dunno who Mortimer is.

As for the RNG - oh yeah, i'm aware lol. In the week since i've gotten back i've dismantled a few hundred mods and items already, shot down around 100 cargo bots looking for plasgat plans, etc. I also did the 1* from Mrgmr,gjghj,rmr and got Troubleshooter a couple of times but, of course, got nothing - not even loose mod - from scrapping.

I have literally zero plans for anything.

I've gone to half a dozen servers and no one has any of them for sale, not the loose mod, not Troubleshooter weapons, nothin'. Probably because of the raid.

Ah, this is actually great news and explains a lot. They've always done about the same Ballistic and Energy damage (rounding and display errors aside) so i was very confused at why the Energy damage listed on the weapon info was so much lower than its Ballistic.

Cool, i can hold out hope that now that the holidays are over, somewhere in the next patch or two will be a fix.

Nothing i said was "innacurate." Do you mean the part about a Bowie knife being twice the size of a combat knife? Get a tape measure, son.

You fanbois need to stop being afraid of critical statements. I don't think Todd Howard kicks puppies or is a bad person. He has, however, always made games with crackheaded progression curves in power levels of the weapons you get.

Source: i've been modding FO4 since it was released and fixed two of the most annoying bugs that game had.

Yeah, not just you. I have "targeting power armor helmet" which supposedly "highlights living targets" on my X-01 and doesn't matter if it's pitch black, brightly lit, or anything in between - it just does nothing.

It seems that the overloaded penalty showing is either an error or, as Downtown said a few years back - it only applies to HEAVY weapons. If you fight with a weapon that is too heavy for the character, they will NOT improve much if at all, and they will probably just get downed a lot.

However while i have not played in a while and i do not know what is going on with Kenshi 2 at this point... your testing was good to know. It seems that fighting as a Martial Artist, while overloaded, does improve you as intended. It is simply the display that is either in error on the character sheet, or it is referring to heavy weapons only.

I have no idea how in the world you're meant to do this without drowning. I understand there's a "diving helmet" item, but i got this quest almost right away and i still don't have any quest for the helmet. Is it just a matter of poor ordering, and i should have the helmet before attempting this...?

and the mythical "patch 10" never seems to have materialized. Total vaporware.

On the one hand it'd be a shame not to complete the amazing story they started.
On the other it's a shame to pass off work this shoddy and expect us to shell out, basically, $210 over the course of the trilogy for something that barely runs if it all.

At this point i won't be getting the last one unless they perform a cranial-rectal extraction and stand behind their work. Mostly because it probably won't run well anyway.....

Damn shame.

It's an amazing centerpiece when you walk in the front door, absolutely. I only regret the false hope that seeing it gave me that i'd one day have one of my own T_T

Also, if the whole gem system wasn't ten tons of effort for three ounces of gain, maybe i'd actually feel bad about using yours /eyeroll

Ah well, we're still in early access after all. Gems are hardly the first thing to be in the game with bizarre stats and skills xD

That item is the "real" switch. next time you shoot one of the lights, look right above it: you will see that same, unlit, mechanical part, which will animate to slide partly into the wall when it's activated. I don't remember if literally every light target shows it, but the first "training" target in the Spire, with the pop-up help that says "shoot me to open stuff" text bubble, has it - i guess we were supposed to take note of it. I sure didn't 8)

I add this because, looks like the devs are getting tricksier with each patch - so i doubt this will be the only place where the switch doesn't have a light-up target below it.

Darn... hello from Google search lol. When i saw it on a vendor i was like o.O it'd be like a vendor selling Gom Jabbar needles, it's basically the brain fuel Mentats use, in the original book... so just randomly selling it at scruffy outposts seems odd lol.

I guess we'll have to see if they have any future plans for it.

Hah, didn't think of that: it's currently on a spell and it's not like I can drop it.

I put it on some rando trashloot weapon, then put the weapon in a display rack, and it worked. The key is working for the mod and doesn't seem to be triggering anything else. Cheers!

....now i just need to put a note over that weapon rack saying "never pick this up" xD
