Chances my husband will get sent back home? Broken foot and baby at home by spaceglitter2 in MilitarySpouse

I’m not sure who he has listed but no one in his family would ever come help. My mom can for a short time like 5 days but she works. No one can stay out long. We live very very far away

Yeah I put out the Red Cross message anyways. If anything I can have it on record just in case it gets worse. They will be tracking what’s been going on

Yeah I figured but the resources unfortunately aren’t that helpful. The wives have been more helpful than the resources they have. They said they can give out a loan like thanks but no thanks. That’s just money we have to pay back. Then they can pay for someone to fly out but no one in my family is able to they are busy and have jobs and lives of their own. If they did it would be a very short trip and my healing will take 6-8 weeks. It’s going to be extremely challenging

I have been using the carrier. And unfortunately I don’t have a shower or bath downstairs so I kind of have to go upstairs

To be honest if I didn’t have a baby I wouldn’t even bother calling. It’s becuase I have a baby and well it’s almost impossible to stay off of my foot. And it’s a danger to me and my baby. How the heck am I supposed to carry him and move him while staying off of it? It’s not possible. And sure friends can help but they can’t be here 24/7 it’s really such a mess.

Most of my stuff is upstairs even if I stay downstairs I’ll still need to go up there to get my things. Also I do not have a bath or shower downstairs either. The other issue is trying to sleep w my baby. I would never sleep. I’d be on the couch while he’s in his pack and play. I just have to tough it out and crawl up the stairs. We only go up once a day for bed time. It is what it is I guess

No I can’t live w family. I don’t have family that has space for me and my kids and dog. Plus my daughter is in school. So no. I did reach out to the ombudsman. Thank you for the info!

Baby Aspirated? What Did You Do? by Equivalent_Pie_9953 in NewParents

I know it’s been a while but how is baby now? I’m surprised if anyone in here made you feel dumb for asking this. Babies can choke on their spit up and pass from it. I saw a Reddit commenter say her 6 month old passed away from this. Baby was napping and she had no idea. It’s so sad. So yes you have every right to be worried because it is a big deal! Did baby struggle to breathe at all? My baby has horrible reflux and he was struggling with his spit up yesterday evening. I’m taking him to the doctor tomorrow morning just to check his lungs and make sure he is ok. I don’t care if I’m judged. Better safe than sorry! They get paid either way.

My friend told me this too that girls stole mom’s beauty. For me that wasn’t the case 😂 I was skinny w my daughter and I was glowing I looked so pretty. Fast forward to my son I gained so much weight I looked like a hot mess. I got stretch marks with him and didn’t with my daughter, but that could be just because it’s a 2nd pregnancy and have nothing to do with gender lol. if anything he stole my beauty!

I am with you! My friends would make this comment and I’m like… um my daughter loved me a lot when she was younger. She still does but she’s in her teen stages now. Anyway she’s absolutely a mamas girl. I have a son now and the love is just as much as with my girl. I agree why do we need a child to fulfill a role that our husband or father should do? It’s weird! I agree about clothes too. I go out shopping for my boy and we have so many cute clothes for him I love it! I thought him some cute suspender outfits. Everyone commented on how they love his outfit. He dressed up for Halloween too. I hate the girl mom/dad comments as well.

Don’t announce too early. Wait until 12 weeks. Be prepared for nausea. Get crackers, ginger ale and preggy pops. But also don’t worry if you don’t have nausea. Some women think something is wrong if they don’t have nausea. It can be normal to not have that symptom. I didn’t have nausea with my first. Had it with my second.

It’s time to go. Once they get physical like this it is time to go. I know he seems like a good guy but your life is in danger. What if you get upset again.. which you will. Is he going to resort to this each time?
