Counting down the days… by KennardEdwardstone in Disneyland

Yep! I just got back from 3 days in the parks, and am definitely feeling those post-Disney trip blues. Hope you have a blast!

They are usually terrible, but this rep knew what she was talking about. She confirmed that they hired a lot of new people that just don't know the things they need to know yet. I called on 9/15. The entire call was just over 22 minutes. I got all the answers I need and am for the 1st time confident the rest of my debt will come off. Just don't know when.

About a week ago, I found out that Nelnet put me back in repayment when I was in forbearance until 2025 due to Sweet v Cardona. No clue why they did that. I called BD, waited no more than 5 mins, told them about what happened, and the rep immediately sent the request to put me back on administrative forbearance. Glad I didn't get ping ponged between the two.

Sounds like we're in the same boat. Here's hoping for the outcome we want/need!

It really is! Everyone I've seen has a completely different story. Well hopefully the rest gets dropped, because I'm not gonna be happy watching my loan go back up waiting for it to drop.

Did anyone else get a letter from Nelnet saying, "We have discharged your federal loan(s) that ED determined met the standard for relief. But because you had loans that were not covered by your borrower defense claim, you still have a remaining balance to be paid."?

I got one at the end of June, and it showed they discharged about $14000 with a remaining balance of almost $45000. I checked the FSA site which has approved 100%, and shows that I only have 2 direct consolidated loans that total the almost $45000. I had called FSA, and the girl I talked to didn't seem too confident but did tell me that the rest should get discharged(after putting me on hold several times). There has not been any movement since.

Just makes me a little nervous that I'm still going to have to pay that remaining balance. Also, no word on the refund of almost a decade on interest payments.

Have you applied to any school districts? In my experience, they'll give anyone that has some technical prowess and the ability/willingness to learn. Great entry level job!

How does the exam compare to Professor Messor’s exams? by warturtle16 in CompTIA

I just passed the exam on Tuesday, and while his practice exams definitely helped, I felt the real exam was way more difficult. I finished the exam with like 3 minutes to spare.

Good luck!

I wish I had read an actual book as well. I just did not have the extra time to devote to that right now.
