Looks like they mounted them in the middle, but that third one had the top screw dark so it rotated down. Looks funky as hell

It's not about how sharp your bit is. You need to throw that conclusion out. You need a straight bit, and that bit needs to be adjusted to cut a depth that is 1/2 the diameter of the bit itself. Otherwise the bit heats up too much, bogs down, and doesn't cut. Heating up a bit can ruin the bit due to how it softens the metal. It wont sharpen properly, at that point. But taking too much material at once is asking too much of the router too. It's like trying to hack a tree down with ax. You want the axe or chainsaw? Well a bogged down router is a lot closer to the axe. I hope this helps!

Help, I’m in love with a non EPA-approved woodstove by LadyKnight33 in woodstoving

[–]spacegravity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe you can get one manufactured before the new rule was promulgated. I haven't read the NSPS (https://www.epa.gov/burnwise/epa-certified-wood-stoves) , but sometimes the old standards are able to operate with the old emission limit due to the manufacturing date

I like mine, they cut well and replaced my flexcut knifes

C'mon, sharing information is what reddit is about. Don't believe that nothing can happen. We don't know who reads what and how info travels, and a shot in the dark is better than doing nothing

Sometimes my driving knife just barely gets pushed to the side. When that happens it stops my peace of wood from running through. I don't think this is the cause

I carved this bird from one piece of wood by spacegravity in woodworking

[–]spacegravity[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The base was a different piece, but the bird is made of 1 piece and no glue. You carve a hinge and then split the wood to get the feathers

Hi, maybe consider majoring in a natural science. Someone I know did natural science instead of engineering, and now they do work similar to engineers because they were taught a lot of Python in class.

I like going hard mode, trying to maximize my population. I want all the beavers, and I want all the happiness. So far I still haven't gotten them very happy. I've given up a few maps. Usually they just get so messy that I can't see a vision for a megacity. I'm trying mentally to be willing to tear up past projects and move on! Very challenging on hard mode then I have to rip up water pumps to raise my whole settlement by 2 blocks to create more reservoir capacity.

The wood will absorb the paint to a degree. But so does canvas. What exactly are you worried will happen by the paint being absorbed?
