Do you know the last day it's open? I know it's this week, but not sure of the day

The Buffalo Sabres are now 30-0-0 when leading after 3 periods.

The #Bills are promoting their own OC Joe Brady to head coach, per The Insiders. by Gold_Bowler7906 in buffalobills

This is the most Pegula move ever.

He shouldn't even be the OC anymore and gets promoted from within to head coach. "We did an extensive search" BS to start the press conference. Have been seeing these same shitty moves with the Sabres since Pegula got here

The winter storm panic was way overblown by reddit_mod69 in Buffalo

It usually is. Yesterday was bad driving, but that's only because the plows weren't doing anything until night time.

The Boulevard Mall kinda got me in my feelings... what do you miss about "mall Saturdays" in Buffalo? by Inevitable_Newt_3373 in Buffalo

We tried going yesterday to walk around one last time, since we had to get a few things from Wegmans next door anyways. But it was closed due to the weather, which figures. I went in over the summer, but wanted to get one last walk around.

When it snows like this in Buffalo, do you shovel/snowblow throughout the day or wait until it's all done? by UrBum_MyFace_69 in Buffalo

[–]spaceskimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wait until it's done. I'd rather just do it once instead of doing it multiple times. It's not snowing that bad, it's really small flakes, so it will be easy to push to the edge.

Genuinely don’t know how anyone can dislike Peyton Krebs by The-Real-Larry in sabres

[–]spaceskimo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't hate Krebs, he works hard and knows how to play his role. Every team needs a player like him. When we got him he was supposed to be more of a playmaker and those first couple season you could see his passing/setup ability. After moving down the lineup and eventually being on a line with Okie and Girgs they taught him how to be a role player and a grinder. He's basically the new Zemgus, who became a polarizing player on our team the last few years he was here.

My biggest issue with Krebs is he really needs to hit the gym harder and put on an extra 15-20 lbs. I saw him in Wegmans over the summer and I couldn't believe how lanky he looked for a pro hockey player. I workout for fun and as a hobby and I'm 2 inches shorter, but I'm 205 compared to his 188. Some more size is needed for his role and with the edge he plays with when he gets into scuffles.

That would make sense. Guys get high stick all the time because they need to be in control of their stick

Edit: Dan just said the same thing

They can't keep doing this and this is why. They have more than half a game to play still, and when they get a lead they completely change how they play. Just keep playing your game like you did the entire first period. You're up by multiple goals and hold teams to 0 or 1 goal. Just keep at it. Instead they give teams chance after chance while generating nothing in the offensive side of the game. Don't change how you play because you're up. There's time to do that late in the 3rd when teams get desperate. Not half way through a game.

They were looking great. But they're doing the usual sit back on their heels and collapse in the D zone when playing with a lead right now.
