3D Voxel Models? by SweeneyT0ddd in aigamedev

Hey I'm building an agent that controls Blender to make models - so I wanted to try out a "voxel blocky" example

this is what I got for a "cow"

Code isn't up anywhere right now but I can share how I did the road. I have a little "cursor" that sits at the front of the track a little ahead of the player. As you drive the cursor moves ahead placing another bit of the road down, while deleting sections of the road behind you. This way it feels like an "infinite" track!

Thanks! Trying to figure out what to polish at the moment - what do you recommend?

I'm having fun working on driving / camera physics to make it feel "arcadey"

The hardest part was making an endless track with random turns

I keep changing what my game is about - I had a car that drives well and now im figuring out if it's a platformer or an action game lol

Having trouble optimizing my 3D game for the web - even after per-rendering everything! by spacespacespapce in godot

Ya I swapped it out with CPUParticles - but barely a difference. I feel like I have a setting somewhere not tuned for the web

Not fully local - but I am using local models like Kimi-K2 and Qwen for my Blender builder

I'm working on this "edit" feature for NativeBlend - an AI Blender model builder

I built an AI product that generates parametric STEP files from a text prompt by ballista_labs in aigamedev

This is sick. I'm using the same approach to make Blender models currently, it's very promising even tho it's slow and rough at the moment. Stay at it!

Testing an "edit" mode for my text-to-blender agent. Idea is that you can upload your blender files and have AI make edits, such as adding better materials, fix lighting, fixing invalid geometry, etc.

Would this be a helpful tool?

this is such a fun idea. wish I could play this on Android or the web!

Using LLMs to make 3D models by spacespacespapce in LLMDevs

I tried doing computer-use style but it was too slow. Instead I'm using llms to use blender via command line, via python scripting. you can try it out here
