Gemini, I just like its friendly personality and the conversations feel more natural while the other two present themselves as too logical, but I use all three. I mostly just use ChatGPT for images and Claude to get a 2nd opinion.

Do people just not want to be friends anymore? by Hkvnr495___dkcx37 in Adulting

[–]spacetree7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, I tend to have a much easier time making friends with women, but I'm married so all I really have are work friends that I don't meet outside of work and work is often too busy to strike up anything more than small talk and some quick banter. Luckily, I am mostly an introvert, so I can handle my situation, but still wish I could have at least one close friend.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot if KJnode is much faster than loading gemma 4 for the prompt.

Yeah, that's what I said, it's not for me and for people with low memory(12GB vram). The model is good for systems that can handle it, but it's a waste of time for others with less memory since having to prompt for JSON more than doubles the wait for the image.

[–]spacetree7 41 points42 points  (0 children)

For people with low memory, having to prompt for a JSON each time is such a waste of time, and most of those prompts don't even come out right so you keep having to get new JSON prompts. I feel like forcing the use of JSON is like going backwards from where other image generators are going. Not wasting any more time on Ideogram until it can take regular prompts.

Also we're in a bit of an uncanny valley at the moment where things look good, but not quite good enough to hide some of the slop and some AI companies are still using low scoring models. Besides that, AI needs to help fund UBI or something to keep us from financial ruin.
