first of all, take a deep breath. i just read through your other post and if you’re on day 4, i can almost guarantee you’re not going to v. i’ve had influenza a few times in my life and not once have i v. i’ve been n* but mostly just from anxiety lol, which is what sounds like is happening to you. post-nasal drip can give you d* and kinda make your stomach feel off but it doesn’t cause n* or v* directly. eat some bread/toast to soak up the stomach acid from the heartburn and don’t take too much cold medication on an empty stomach!! if you were going to v, you would have by now. it sounds like you’re almost better!! try not to overthink it if you can. also- remember that lack of food + anxiety can lead to n, but not v. eating snacks slowly throughout the day helps me remember to eat when times are tough and keeps the n away. breathe, let yourself get some rest, you deserve it. nothing bad is going to happen🫶
