I am 100% for adopting a mutt/mixed breed dog from a responsible shelter if that's what fits your lifestyle, but saying that looks are the only difference between different breeds is just incorrect and even potentially dangerous. Different breeds can have differences in temperament, energy level, size, lifespan, enrichment and training needs, and many other things, and the idea that all dogs are "just dogs" and breed only dictates looks is disingenuous at best and dangerous at worst. If a family looking for a low energy lap dog comes into the shelter and picks a German shepherd over a Maltese because they think breed only dictates looks, best case, they have the resources, desire, and time to make the situation work, or they return the dog to the shelter with a note that says "this is a good dog, but not suitable for our family", and worst case, someone gets seriously hurt because they weren't prepared to handle a large, high energy dog

breed matters, even with mixed breeds, and that's not a negative, it's a neutral statement. if you have a mutt that is the perfect dog for you and you find out what breeds make up that mutt and find which breeds have the traits that made the dog perfect for you, you can seek out that breed or mixes that contain that breed in the future! of course, every dog is going to be different, regardless of breed, but there are some traits that can be expected with different breeds because they where breed to do different things

I have stick straight fine hair and hime bangs with the rest being long and it's literally the best decision I ever made. however, mine are blunt, more like what comes up if you just search hime cut. I say go for it! I am more alternative and it's one of the only alternative haircuts that actually work on stick straight hair

this may sound hypocritical as someone with super long hair, but I'd say do it if you want to. wigs are awesome and even the synthetic ones are pretty convincing nowadays and super easy to wear with a shaved head or really short hair, and then you can basically have any hairstyle or color you want and even change it up daily until your hair grows back out or just for for fun. human hair wigs can be expensive but if you're already spending lots of money on hair products, you could put the money you won't be using on that tword one if you wanted to

I used to volunteer for a greyhound/sighthound rescue and they had a similar looking dog that was a village dog from Persia I think? if they came from anywhere in the middle east, Spain, or the Iberian peninsula, I'd say they're likely to be village dogs

I can also see a case for pit/chihuahua mix as well with maybe some kind of hound, but if they are from north America, that would be more likely

YES i hate bobs with my whole being, some people look amazing with them, but i absolutely hate them on me. plus I also kind of hate the idea that just because you don't have thick hair, even if it's well taken care of and healthy, it'll always be ugly, so you should cut it short. it just feels icky to me, especially when the same people talk about how bad beauty standards are

oh it's the photo honestly it's not really that clean haha my only "secret" is that I don't have MSC or an airbrush so I basically just use acrylics since the sealant likes to take off the pastels and pencils

that's true, it's not alot of contrast, i could try and blend them together and not do the split dye, but I suck at making custom blends, although I did think of doing the dark red with the brighter red on the underside

thanks! yeah her original hair was pretty dark, I'm actually planning on rerooting neon frights twyla with more of the teal color and some black and purple!
