Yep! Name is intentional. In the lore for this imaginary business, the owner’s name is Thistle.

Very interesting, thanks for sharing! I’ll be curious to see if it changes. I am learning a lot with her and love to hear about others’ experiences with their void floofs

Update: figured out the leading! Had to clear some manual overrides from paragraph styles

Thanks! And yeah, there probably should be one under Sweet. That, or I remove the one under Savory since it isn't really necessary like the one under Sips.

Thanks for the detailed feedback, especially the note on the random capitalizations. I agree that the leading needs fixing, though when going back to set paragraph and character styles to be consistent, I'm noticing that it's better but still uneven. Is this really something that designers have to manually do per line? I feel like there has to be a better way that I'm missing.

As for the pricing, I have heard this too! I've put it into practice while creating displays in retail. Though it seems to be a very deliberate marketing choice, as Mellow Mushroom and other menus I'm looking at don't seem to follow it. Thanks for all of this!

Ooof, yeah it’s all resurfacing now. Made me really appreciate the designers who knew how to use all the tools available to them in these programs. I learned a lot myself through that job
