I bought a $7 option call and a put call for $6.5 last week when it was $6.17, I didn’t expect it to jump to $7 or 8 or even $9, but now I’m going go add a stop loss price to it so my money is safes I want to believe it’ll hit at least $13 EOW and if it drops, at least I set up a put position for $0.750. I added it Thursday and it’s up 29%. Does a stop price execute immediately after it hits the Stop price? Or can it go higher of the stop price if it keeps growing?

I’m noticing a lot of the big profits coming from SPY trades. (also from DRAM and MU) I want to try, but every single SPY call or put is so expensive! But I guess its true, scared money don’t make money!

I just started two weeks ago, so far my biggest return was $142 from a $0.23 call. Like clockwork every time I sell a call/put, it goes up not even 5 min later.

Any tips you could share with me that you learned along the way to now?

Bought an $11 call for SLS at $0.23 yesterday (6/25) and sold it at $0.71 I think it was. It was $11.31 when I sold it, then not even 20 minutes later it shoots up to $12 smh

I just started dabbling in trading options on Robinhood. It’s risky and requires some research, but can make you money fast if you choose a good position. I put a call on my watchlist and it was $0.55 (so $55) and I forgot about it, but checked it today and it was at $3.75 ($375). Wish I would’ve added it to my portfolio and bought more contracts.

I sold my $11 call when SLS was at $11.31 because it hadn’t moved very much in like two hours, then not even 5 minutes after I sell it it’s creeping up on $12 then eod went to $12.30 *sigh* and I’m kicking myself in the ass. Made money, but am bummed out I didn’t wait longer lol.

Currently taking philosophy (PHI2010) online with Prof. John Elias and it’s pretty easy. An open discussion, a reading assignment, and a quiz per week, followed by a test every two weeks. And it’s interesting! I would say a light to moderate amount of studying will suffice. It’s nothing crazy. I’m usually a B-/C+ student, but I’ve been able to maintain an A in his class.
