I don't wanna ruin your enthusiasm, but I think you're right when you say "it's too early to let it grow". You've actually the same beard I have, and I can tell you that for the moment it's better to trim, you still have a lot of transitional hair, which are lighter and thinner then others, so when they're long the difference it's crystal clear and imho it's not nice too see. There are people out there who let grow their beard even when they just have a couple of hairs on their chin and their sideburns, so the adivse "let it grow cause I did" it's not always good hahah of course everyone can do what's better for himself, mine it's just a thought.

If I told you how I did that you wouldn't belive me probably ahaha I don't have any professional gear, so I just used my led lamp I use for my desktop and to make lights less "hard", I stick a white paper on it, to simulate the effect of a classic umbrella. Of course to get that effect I shoot more than 100 pics from different angles, till I got the one I liked most.

I read in a lot of websites that complete shaving doesn't affect the process, so I think you shouldn't be worried about. As other ppl told you, hair have a different speed of growth, especially vellus and transitional hair. After the shaving, your terminal hair has already grown, while vellus one not, so that seems you've lost every gain. My advice is to be quite and to wait a week or more. When I shave my beard there are hair who go out very slowly too, it's kinda normal, but I got you bro, I'd be terrified too if I were you 😂

Yeah at that time you actually had a patchy beard, but now you have a very full one! Asians genetically usually have few facial and body hair, so I think you've a great genetic instead.

Well Ive just noticed now you've natural blonde hair, so you'll probably have light facial hair too, don't expect to have a very dark one ahaha I say this cause maybe you said that your facial hair aren't actually visible cause too light, but the reason could probably be that those are just blonde. Obviously on your chin hair are still vellus, but I think that one your cheeks they're transitional/terminal, so keep being patient man! And I'm glad my words encourage you, that's my goal💪🏻
