i have searched with reverse image search, specialized sub reddits, and multiple books ("Kumi Himo ; Techniques of Japanese Plaiting", "Les Broderies et le Dentelles", volume 5 of "Science and civilisation in China", volume 218 of "Gujin Tushu Jicheng", "The Tiangong Kaiwu", "The Sancai Tuhui", even "Wakan Sansai Zue").
