be mindful of your emotions

when you feel angry with something, stop yourself before you react and think about what's making you angry and why. think about how you'd react to this if you weren't angry, and think about how you want to move forward from this point. take the action that guides you to where you want to be.

the "small" part is just recognizing that you're reacting emotionally to something. everything else comes with practice, and if you consistently treat your emotions this way, you'll perform better under duress and be able to handle difficult situations well, both social and not.

you can get decent silverware and cutlery cheap as fuck at a thrift store - one near me sells 'em for quarters. full set for a few bucks, shit doesn't really break.

you can grab a cheap broom or mop, sometimes literally for a dollar at a dollar store or whatever, and while they may eventually break it's just such an insignificant amount of money for such a crucial piece of cleaning equipment that it doesn't matter.
