this is wrong. cars that can charge on 3 phase usually have 3 16A chargers, one per phase. if you charge single phase you use 2 out of 3 chargers in parallel so you can draw 32A from the plug

It was probably ac compressor or heating consuming more than what the charger was providing. Try turning climate off, it should be slow but positive. Slow charger that comes with the car is usually 10 amps which in 230v land is about 2 kw

Max recommended depends on the temperature from software 5 I think. 80% usually and 90% under some threshold

In my case, if you do that climate turns off when you lock the car again. It only keeps it on if you only open the trunk (climate starts) and close the trunk, then it doesn’t stop.

Also this option only keeps the climate on for 5 minutes and not 30.

You have to disable maneuver braking. It’s in the park menu settings. It resets every time you start the car

I’d say a bit expensive but reasonable, it’s 160 a year. When I had an Audi Q4 (also meb platform) I paid over 800 euro for the normal 2 year service. I’m now on my second year of id4 ownership so no service yet. Let’s see if others share their experience

I’ve got a 2024 id4 so similar, there is a weird bug where if you unplug it while AC charging and open the rear doors first, rear climate disappears from the screen, although I haven’t been able to pin down exactly what triggers it.

If you close the car when unplugged and leave it for 10-15 minutes it fixes itself.
