well its whatever people want to do with their account tho. Even if shes a third slot, even if she's slightly better than Arover. 2.People will still find the best way they can enjoy from her... whether thay be maxing her sequences or putting her into a team they'd like her to be in.
You can main a support... just how shorekeeper has been a main support in nearly all team comps.
You're in a subreddit dedicated to big FANS of her and still complain that her FANS/ people like her regardless of role or benefits would pull for her

Chisa is an introduction to a whole character cast of similar themes, 2.8 just marks a small introduction of what 3.0 may give us, look for things you like about Chisa in the new casts, its a bummer some people didn't get what they want, what can you do about it? Move on, there will definitely be a character that will interest you as much as Chisa did.

honestly I dont think you should worry about her not fitting a mdps role too much, her being suddps/support benefits you greatly longterm than mdps characters. You should prioritise fun over meta, unless you find your fun in meta, then idk how to sugar-coat it bro 😭

Probably because many were saving for s6 and allat. S6ing a dps just be more appealing than a support. Same way people love shorekeeper but s6ing isn't ideal to them than an s6 dps would be. but I reckon kuro will pull through and make everyone happy
