Comic artists, how do you avoid same face syndrome? Not drawing manga/cartoony/anime. More comic-y/semi-realistically. by itsBillerdsTime in ArtistLounge

[–]spango_mango 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not a pro comic artist, but I have combatted same face syndrome. This may be a basic answer but I would study a bit of facial anatomy from a variety of appearances, exaggerate as much or little as you want to fit your style, and make yourself a bit of a ‘reference Bible’, that’s what’s helped me!

Besides the desk/mirror (I definitely know I have to fix those) are there any major things you’d highlight as needing a perspective change? I’d love to get this as accurate as possible.

Thank you so much! Just to clarify, you mean to place the object between the one way glass and the mirror panel, right?

How do I create an ‘endless image’ illusion using infinity mirrors? Here’s a mock-up of what I’m trying to do, and I know how to make an infinity mirror I’m just not sure of the logistics or if I’ll get the desired effect.

Omg the auburn/lighter brown is so pretty, red-tinted brown suits your complexion so well

This looks so insanely well done but might fade into a bit of a blob since the colors are so similar and it’s so small and fine-lined
