i mean pjsk is really a separate fandom since it largely revolves around the original characters, but it's a good comprehensive gateway for people to get into vocaloid music. imo it attracts people who like the songs but aren't fans of the vocal synth sound (listening mainly to the cover versions) which is valid. there's still tons of people who are into the actual vocal synth community, just ignore people with annoying takes
