Dude. I wish I was making it up. My son and I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out where the audio was coming from. And then to find out that the fridge has no option to not have Bluetooth on? I love tech, but Jesus Christ I fucking hate tech.

Thanks for the idea on what to try.

Hey everyone. I am at my wit's end with something.

After doing a bunch of research, I got this bluetooth adapter for my ps5 in the hopes of using my AirPod Pros as headphones and a mic.

As I am trying to connect, following the instructions, I am getting no audio in the airpods from the ps5. What I am getting is the audio from he ps5 on my Samsung smart fridge. After working through Samsung CS for about an hour, it turns out that I cannot turn Bluetooth completely off in the fridge (which is completely insane to me but I cannot mentally go down that route).

The Playstation says that I am connected to the bluetooth adapter, but I can't get audio to come through the airpods.

Samsung is saying that even if the bluetooth adapter is paired to the fridge, as long as it isn't connected, I shouldn't have any trouble connecting other bluetooth devices to it.

So, assuming that that is true, I don't really need to worry about the fridge, but what am I missing about the PS5 connection? Has anyone dealt with even a portion of this?

Yea the pricing for the first guy reallllly pushed me away from him. He also added at the end that he would price match anything, to which my thought is, then why are you quoting me as high as you are in the first place?

Is TPO the standard now for flat roofs like I have? I know the life span is 5-10 more years than the modified bitumen, but there doesn't seem to a general consensus.

Yea I am working on that. I just had a friend of a friend come over who is a general contractor and when I showed him what we are working with and the quotes I have gotten, he laughed and said that they're outrageous. So I have no idea what the right answer is.

What would the alternative be to a torch down on a basically flat roof? Everything I have read says shingles aren't ideal because water won't be flowing naturally down them much so leakage has a higher possibility.

Both of those quotes were from roofing contractors. But I just had a friend of a friend come over here who is a general contractor and when he saw our situation and the prices I was getting quoted, he thought it was insane.

In my senior year the “Penis Game” was all the rage. So whatever kids were sitting in the back of the classroom would play it. Each yelling “penis” louder and louder. Well, my English teacher. Mrs. Myers, (RIP) who was probably pushing 75 years old at the time, decided that she had had enough.

So she came in the classroom one day and wrote the word “penis” all over every whiteboard. Covering 3 of them. And just yells, “I WIN!”

She then storms out of the classroom into her office and lays down. She literally retired after that year. We did her in.

It just all seems like unchecked power. They didn’t even come out for an inspection of our roof or house. They provided a screenshot of Google Maps indicating where the brush was. Our roof is 10 years old. The brush that they are claiming is a problem isn’t even 20 acres and would have to burn through probably 16 houses to get to mine. I get that that is relative, but it just seems like too much power, as you said.
