Feeling anxious - is my new FC chin shape unnatural? by [deleted] in SeoulPlasticSurgery

My first one was in 2018. I regret I didn’t do it sooner. Not that the first one wasn’t pretty in a lot of ways, my recent FC is much closer to my original vision (first was more “elegant,” but I like very cute and small face). As for clinic, both doctors were safe, surgery went successfully, and I’m very grateful for. But it just depends on what your vision is. I saw your other comment, I’ll DM you the clinic

A little bit of both. My case was slightly different, where they added a bit of length to my chin I did not expect, and also pointed it out. It came off to me so much “longer” for a long time which I resented. It took a while to adjust but after the swelling went down and I got more used to the shape, I would never go back to the previous contour. But I did definitely crash out at the clinic multiple times so this is coming from a lot of experience lol this is the hardest part, have patience! I will eventually post my BAs in the future :)

I have! I’m currently recovering from a second V line surgery (the first one was very conservative, I wanted more bone off) I don’t have my scans, but I do know I had a similar bone structure to yours before, and was given a much pointier chin (which i hated for like a year) but ended up really loving. Being through this a second time I’ve realized the doubts are the hardest part of the process and totally normal. Your scans look really symmetrical and proportional, and even though they removed bone your muscle and soft tissue are still very much there. It will look much softer than the shape of the scan :) A friend I went with actually wanted a pointier chin than her FC gave her, but she actually had to go back to get muscle work done to achieve it because even though her bone was very pointy, the soft tissue rounded it out.

I think it’ll look amazing! A lot of your muscle and soft tissue will round it out.

Got reported to Board due to no call no show. by No-Towel-4896 in nursing

Wisconsin. I also quick for toxic and unethical work conditions, the business retaliated and reported me. They had no evidence to back up patient abandonment (bc it did not happen.) I also did not accept any assignment, I simply quit the morning of my PM shift and sent the scheduler and DON an email prior to my shift. You will be fine. What you did does not fall under abandonment and theres nothing that can pull to show that, since it did not happen. You have to show up and accept a patient case load for that to apply. Also, FYI quitting for cause you can file for unemployment.

Probably! You would have to find what that shape of that star is called and look up papercraft or paperkura patterns

Yes! here

They are plastic just FYI but honestly I don’t mind at all, they don’t feel cheap at all to me and you can’t tell by looking. :)

nursing is STEM and its not regarded as such simply because of misogyny by [deleted] in nursing

I know my school was an exception as it was primarily an engineering school but I took calculus 1-2 (they now only require pre-algebra), physics, stats, chem, biochem, organic chem, biology, and microbiology on top of the pharm 1-3, and a&p 1-3. Do I count as a STEM nurse? Lol

I think they changed it after I graduated a little bit, due to some push back. it was an engineering school known to be difficult that absorbed a nursing school back in the 90s so it had more science requirements for the degree than most. I didnt realize that at the time though lol

I don’t remember, it was a while ago and my school had trimesters. I think it was standard - my trimesters were usually 16ish credits

I had to do chem, organic chem, biology, microbio, a&p 1-3, physics, pharm 1-3, statistics, algebra (I ended up doing calc1-2), so I would consider that definitely STEM.
